understanding students
all students are different and may learn, retain, and test in slightly unique ways. as teachers we should be able to address these issues and deliver information and tests accordingly.
Jessica,
I agree with your statement, especially in an environment that deals with adult learners and varying age groups. Whether the student is entering courses right after graduating high school or returning to class after many years outside of the classroom setting the learning styles will vary dramtically. Being able to present information in multiple ways will increase the potential that more students will understand, learn and incorporate the new knowledge into their new careers.
