Refocusing

I think post term/semester refocusing is a good idea. Throw out what did not work or students didn't like and try something else. It is always good to have your course evolve over time. Any thoughts?

I too have been teaching the same class for the past year. I find that the school I teach for is behind the curve whilst I try to stay in front of it. Incorporating different projects or even Extra Credit is a great way for me to remain focused with teaching the same class.

Jeremiah,
I generally teach 6 sections of the same course. I try to do something different in each section so I can keep the sections separate in my mind. Also the new activities I introduce keep me interested in the course because I'm not sure how they will turn out so I am excited to try them. Also these activities lead to course improvement and that is a goal I have set for myself each time I teach a class.
