I let them know I care

I let my students know that I actually love what I do and that they need to continue even though it is hard.

I agree! My students know I care about them and their success.

Agree Agree Agree. I am sometimes sure that I do not love what I do but I have a high reguard for it. What I do keeps my energy high because I am always finding ways to make it work better. I find them from the input of the students that are not getting the lesson. I must care with change.

I completely agree and attempt the same!!! When students stumble or hit road blocks, it is so key to stay positive and remind them of the ultimate goal. They may lose a few battles, but it's the war that they need to remember!

I don't think you really have to say that you care. Your actions will show it with out saying it. We all have seen people who just go through the motions while teaching a class. And we all have seen the ones who really care about what they are doing, those people really stand out. Your actions carry much more weight than your words.

This is for me the best motivation an instructor can give to a student.

In my experience, I had students who were a little rough at first few meetings but the moment they feel how sincere I am in teaching, how I show care to them in most ways I can, they would have a complete turn around.

As the saying goes, students don't care how much you know until they know how much you care.

I constantly let my students know that i care about their success and that I love what I do, I love to help them, listen to their needs and help them resolve everyday learning skills

Jeanette,
An Instuctor is looked apon by the student as a person that can make a positive difference in their education and life. An Instructor who is not passionate and truely engaged with teaching becomes an instant turn off to the student and will cause many irreversable problems to the Institute.

Hello Jeanette!

I do the same thing!

Hi Jeanette,
Great statement. Teaching is fun, even with all of the challenges that come with it. I am so glad to hear other educators say they love what they do. It is so encouraging to others, especially those that are just entering the field.
