Having Fun
I inform my students the first thing you need to have with any job is have fun and enjoy what you're doing. Just like my job.
I believe that we can have fun no matter what we are doing laughter is good for the soul, heart, mind and body. Having fun in my class is on my list of things to do for the day. Have the students focus on the positive things that happened to them today. Ask them to tell you something good that happen to them today. I usually will get a lot of smiles and laughter which sets the tone for the day.
I completely agree! I tell my students on the first day of class to have a sense of humor about the process.

Right you are concerning enjoying one's work. Life is too short to dread going to work each day. For many students that is the reason they are going to school. To make changes in their lives so they can enjoy their career choices.

It is important to make it "fun" and that the student enjoy what he/she is doing in order to be successful at their job. If a person is not happy with the job they have they should try looking for a new job in the same trade where they can be happy. It is a fact that a happy employee is a more productive employee.
The setting can make a job fun or not, don't let them get discouraged if they don't like their job maybe they are just at the wrong employer not the wrong trade.
