Motivation
I go back to the Forum 3 posting about creating "ownership" in the learning process and then have the students "teach" other students about what they have learned. Or, if the project can contain some type of community service or external processing, etc then the student can go back and show that organization, etc what they have learned and what they recommend for changes, etc.
Hi Dr. Ginsburg,
I really support and agree with your comments concerning our role in life. The impact we have on others is so important. We should always strive to make that impact a positive one. As I mentioned in a previous forum comment we need to be aware of the legacy we are leaving in terms of preparing the next generation of professionals in our field.

Dr. Meers, the give-back is an obligation we all have, in addition to the learning experience. I often have likened the learning in my organization behavior and leadership courses, that the essence of success in all that we do in our life is the positive impact we have others during our lifetime. I would doubt that any course or program will affect a person to be a person who values stewardship.

Hi Scott,
Good points about ownership. We all value something we have worked hard to own, but it an object or learning. By sharing it though something like a service learning project the value of it increases even more.
