I had a student who first started out with attitude and rude. Later I found out with postitve motivation and conistent reinforcement she became to be one of my best student.

Sometimes a little support and encouragement can overcome such an attitude. Fear and nerves have a way of creating walls for learners that hopefully we instructors can break down.

I too come accross many students that have bad attitudes, but find out most of the time it is because they are nervous about the class or the unknown, so I try to put forth an effort to show them that I am here to support them.
