Being able to adapt your presentation style and content to the needs of your students is what is all about and make sure they are learning
Hi Diane,
Good point. Go to the source and get their perspectives. This will show you what you have to do to make their learning effective and efficient.
Gary
Yes and if the students are not adapting and we as instructors have tried everything we know ask the student for help in trying to help them learn.
Hi Patrick,
An encouraging word is very powerful. Students need support and motivation and it is best received from their instructor. This way they know their instructor cares about them and their future.

Giving a nice word to each student each day and trying to understand if they have some problems to study help to connect with the students and monitor their success
Hi Bennett,
The idea of trying new approaches to teaching your classes will help to keep it exciting for the students and yourself. Even when teaching a content based subject their are many different activities you can use to get the students moving and involved in the learning process. The movement will to cement the content in their memories.

It is hard for me to figure a "Kenetic style" of learning to apply in a classroom setting. I try at least 2 ideas a week to see what might illustrate a point in a chapter.
Hi Servet,
The key word here change. Being able to adapt to student needs is critical. By keeping your finger on the pulse of the class you can sense when you need to take the class a different direction in order to keep everyone focused.
