Keeping students coming back
The way I keep students coming back is making sure that the class environment is fun and inviting. At the same time making sure to set a high standard but not expecting perfection.
it is important to be very proactive and involved with yor students.
I agree. Everyone has different personalities and it is a challenge to keep everyone engaged and comfortable
I do my best to say something positive to every student every day. it's amazing how much they recall when you are positive with them. I have seen it turn students around into a positive direction.
I like to keep my class fun and inviting as well. But I have learned that there is a fine line we as instructors have to walk. Some students do not like joking or huumor so we must meet them in the middle.
I also like to make the class fun and inviting, I also show them everyday how they have grown. This motivates them to continue trying and not give up.
To keep them involved ,excited and motivated to a point in which they can not wait to return to your class.
Those are the type of classes that students enjoy and learn from.
