I agree with Shafi Ullah, adult learners can also teach the new students based upon their many years of experience but they can also overpower them as well. As an instructor, we must be mindful of the different personalities in the classroom setting and accommodate their learning experience. Extroverts are energetic and gain more energy from the classroom while introvert can become overpowered by the extroverts and never express themselves. As an instructor, I want all of my students to have an opportunity to speak of their experiences and share their stories as it pertain to the class. We, as instructors, must insure the atmosphere is conducive for all learners.
