The love of Teaching

There is nothing like teaching. I love to see students happy and will to go that extra mile so that they can get an A. There is nothing like making sure that students become successful in school.

Ana,
Like your attitude and excitement about what you are teaching. This enthusiasm will spread to your students. Also, since you have been in the same seats you understand where the students are coming from and how to relate to them.

I love teaching too! I was a student at the same college, even took the same course where I now teach. It feels good to give back and offer the same guidance and support that was once given to me when I sat in those exact seats.

Everett,
We have such an influence in the career development of our students. As their learning leader and career model we help them to see what they can develop into if they are will to put forth the needed effort. These roles should not be taken lightly as we prepare and deliver content.

Yes! This is why i was drawn to teaching. I believe that many people can do more than they believe they can, someone like a teacher that they respect just has to take the time and care to spark motivation to be able to cause them to push themselves!

Preparing the next generation of professionals is important. If it is demonstrated that the instructor loves the career it will motivate the students to also grow to love the career. It is also good to give praise if an istructor is particularly impressed with a students work.

Carl,
It is powerful and something we cannot take lightly. There is too much at stake to do so.

The legacy of having a positive impact on student lives is the most encouraging part of teaching.

Sonja,
Being able to help prepare the next generation of professionals in your field is an awesome opportunity. Also, leaving a legacy of highly qualified and prepared individuals is also something that we instructors should never take lightly.

I agree. To be able to teach students your profession is the most wonderful career anyone could have. To share my experience and expertise with students captivates them, engages them in the content, and makes them think about where they want to go in this profession.

Sheilena,
Great comments. This is what draws many of us to teaching. We get to impact the lives of our students while helping them create a future for themselves.
