Students as customers
It is very important to understand the needs of your students, we must always adapt to many different levels of knowledge a student may have. This is very important in order to achieve a good positive outcome.

That's right! Students have to realize it is a privilege for them to attend our institution. They should not have the attitude that I am paying you your salary, although some do.

We have the student as customers approach.
Sometimes that can work against us as instructors. The student may say that they are paying our wages so we have to do what they ask. We have to let them know that they are paying for a seat in our school.

I agree! I have been teaching for over 25 years, and I never teach the same subject the same way twice due to having different students each time. Students change everything.

That is so true, then as you feel out the class you can go from thier and move forward on how to teach the class. You can teach the class with the same out line but you will never teach it the same way due to the class make up of each individule class.

Our students really do come in at all levels academically. I teach to my students as if they do not know anything about the subject matter so that I can reach all students.
