How can incorporating social media networking in the curriculum help you relate to your students and keep them engaged both in and out of the classroom?
I agree that using Facebook to provide a forum for student inquiries and support is helpful. It is also a great place to have them write for other students to review and discuss.

I've seen other teachers create Facebook groups to not only share material with the students, but also provide a way for students to post their progress on projects and receive feedback not only from the teacher, but from the other students as well.

I enjoy using Twitter to connect to my students. I find I can easily share video clips and words of wisdom posted by industry professionals. It also keeps the discussion active outside of class time, which leads to a more meaningful learning experience for the student.
