Interships are such a great opportunity for students to gain hands on experience while still having the support of the school.

Internship is an awesome way students can try out and learn more about health care organizations.  Also, it is an excellent way to land a job opportunity.

It is essential for students to set smart goals throughout their internship and to reassess learning needs

Internships are a valuable tool for students in determining career paths.

"Experiential learning is intended to extend students’ educational experience beyond the traditional classroom setting. It is a structured, student-centered way to integrate curriculum-based educational experiences utilizing practical applications and active involvement."

I learned of internships and it they embetter student and insjtructors.

Internships allow students to use their skills and knowledge with a safety net and guidance of experts in the field.

Internships offer students multiple paths to employment, and increases retention

Internships are a great opporutunity for both the student and the employer. They give the students a real life working experience which can not be had any other way. It also gives the employers an insight into what type of person they may be hiring. It also gives the employer a good look at the program the student is coming from, with communication between the employer and the school program both should be able to grow and better meet the needs of the student and the employer.

The internship experience allows students (or young professionals) an opportunity to engage in the career in a hands-on setting to determine whether the careeer will be an appropriate fit for them, or whether their careers plans need to be altered in order for them to meet their goals.

Internships allow students to explore career paths and put into practice skills learned in the classroom. Another benefit is that employers are able to screen applicants for available positions.

Internships are an invaluable resource, not only for the organization to see the performance and mentor a future employee, but also for the student to have an opportunity to apply what they have learned in a real-world working environment.

Internships can help students evaluate whether they really want to pursue that particular industry. Some students might have a different expectation from reality.

Internships are a valuable way for students or anyone to build their skills, gain confidence and network with potential employers.

I learned that internships are a great way for students to see if they are in the best fitting field for themselves

Internships are great for our students for many ways. Our industry partners come to the school to interview students to see the best fit, and within the classroom is where the connection begins for the students of work to their internship. Having internships local to the students within their community is also very helpful.

Experiential learning has many benefits including gaining valuable work based learning experiences and networking skills for students to build on.

Internships in the healthcare field offer students the opportunity to be comfortable speaking to patients, learn how to observe symtoms and feel comfortable in a fast paced setting.

I am a firm believer of the Intership program. It opens so many doors for the students and offers many opportunities.
