I think that the t-shirt method and swim cap method of illustrating anatomy were very creative.
I'm teaching a small A & P I class this semester geared toward surgical techs. I will be using the T-shirt idea for something. A small class is perfect to try it out.

I thought the T-shirt exercise was a fun idea. We have been discuassing ways of incorporating this activity with animal patients. It will be interesting to see how they react to having the t-shirts om.

These are both good learning activities. We all have a mixture of students in our classrooms who have different learning styles. I agree that combining lecture material with a hands-on-activity will stimulate all types of learners.
I agree that both of these exercises engage students actively in learning the material. In engaging students, the more senses you include the better they learn the material. You engage visual and kinesthetic learners well in these types of exercises.
