Good Idea

I like the idea of the poster board with pictures of supplies and a spinning arrow. Often times we don't have all the supplies available and this is a great way to still get a point across!

I agree I think this is a great idea also! Especially when it comes to different dental materials or anesthetics!

Jamie, choosing the right activity for a class is an interest dilemma. It is best to seek an activity that relates to thinking as if on the job.

I always find these group/partner learning activities helpful when introducing new material. As a massage therapy instructor keeping the coarse material engaging for classes with less hands is important. Using the "Brush with fame" activity in a massage law or ethics class will work as a fitting activity for the course material.

becky, one can use the pictures if the supplies are not available. This teaches the same content in an active way.
