Jeopardy

great to help students, see, hear and the spelling of complicated words/terms.

I like your idea of having the students to write the questions for Jeopardy. In the past, I have always written or used previous lecture questions, but next time I will have them write down questions and then I will select from theirs.

Tessie , I also use a ready to use "frame game" someone shared with me. It makes the preparation for using Jeopardy fast and easy.

Jeopardy is all of my classes' favorite and I'm just so lucky that I found a sample jeopardy game with all the boxes and prizes on the screen and able to change the questions depending on my subject matter. The game makes the students competitive and motivates them to prepare before coming to class.

Lisa, having the students write the questions makes them think and apply content to job scenarios in the best ways.

I have found this is one of the students' favorite games/activities in class. They often come back with new "anwers" and follow-up questions on their own - that are very good and I add them to the next class's list. The learning and attention with this activity is very high and everyone has fun.
