How can a course challenge a wide range of students?
Hi There,
So my question is how can a course be built to challenge everyone?
If a class is too remedial will this not challenge the students that have this experience and possibly bore them?
While I agree that classes need to be made for everyone to use, how can an online class be interesting to an experienced student and a new online student?

It is highly recommended that interactive questioning assess the levels of comprehension for each and every student.

Instructors will always have a range of students in their classes. We will need to look at how to help all of our students.

I feel that this is possible, but difficult. It requires that certain assignments include advanced challenges. These advanced challenges would create the difference, not from passing or not passing the class, but in determining High "A"s to Low "B"s. But the assignments need to create the opportunity for those with lesser abilities/experience to still succeed in the class.

This is such a good post! It is true you cannot build a class for everyone. You will always have students all over the board. You will want to keep the interest of everyone, this is where you interweave your personal experience into the content!
