dynamic learning
I believe dynamic learning is an essential part to the learning and teaching experience for that matter, it allows diffrent points of views to be brought up and disccussed during a lecture, learned alot from it.
I also feel it gives the student a better chance to learn at your own pace type situation...it also puts much more responsibility on the students themselves...with the electronic wave here you are going to see many more schools using some type of a blended learning process.
David,
Yes, good point regarding active versus passive...the goal of any learning environment that will help students learn.

I like dynamic learning because it puts more responsibility on the student. Older formats ("pour and snore") are passive. Dynamic learning requires a more active approach from the student. Web-based training has the advantage of using colored graphics to display motion and deatails.
Ralph,
Also, to capture and distribute btw online and f2f discussions means that students can continue to review and think about the ideas and points raised long after the class time...
