Re: online course content

Instructors should support the learning experience with media like: audio and/or video clips containing focused information, such as background information, this offers the student the ability to learn at their pace.

Jean,

I agree with you. You don't have to produce it yourself there is so much through publishers through Youtube that can make your online course come alive.

Dr. Kelly Wilkinson

Absolutely! We need to ensure that students are gaining the information needed for their learning to take place. There are so many different ways we can engage the learners and reach all the different learning styles as well.

Karen,

I agree with you. It does provide students a better experience and many times you don't have to create the learning objects yourself. I use YouTube clips quite a bit. Good post.

Dr. Kelly Wilkinson

Terry,

Agreed and you don't have to create the objects. There are so many robust tools available through the web particularly YouTube. Publishers are also great resources.

Hello Karen Scotti,
I agree, it is vital that an instructor support the learning experience with engaging technology tools. In the online courses which I teach, I use many outstanding websites with animations to enhance my instruction. The feedback that I have obtained from my students has been very positive with these video and audio instructional tools.
