The summation of an assignmnet is incredibly important. Grasping a better understanding as to the totality of what a student comprehends can nearly be considered invaluable. Once we can identify common trends we can curtail the learning experience making it more efficent.

Students need formative assessment so they can know if they are on the right track and take corrective action when necessary.
