Making a good established presence
Presenting yourself as an online professor can be challenging. I know I certainly have felt the challenge. From this module, I’ve learned the importance of projecting your presence by noting your credentials, etc. to your students is important. Appropriate presentation and introduction to students is critical to a good learning environment (Reiness, 2011).

During the course you can also establish your presence in the course by offering regular feedback and grading on assignments and other activities. Providing your own personal examples that relate to the course content also helps to establish your work with the material and therefore helps to establish your knowledge and understanding of the course materials.
