Often I believe that the competitive learner is more damaging to online discussion. These specific learners make others feel inferior and often are giving misinformation to the group.
We should keep trying to encourage them to help others.

The problem with these type of learners is that they think that other's failure is their success so it is difficult to mold their behavior in productive way.
