Dale,
while humbling, great way to be open to the feedback of the students & to learn & improve.

When I first started out I had no idea what I was doing. I had a student tell me one day that they can read. I realized I was just reading the PP. Now I just glance at the PP and then build on it for my talk. Big difference.

rebecca,
could not agree more. If you're going to put your whole presentation on the power point, just hand it out for the audience to read & save everyone's time.

The visual aid is very helpful for the presenter to engage the audience. However, I've often sat in presentations where the power point slides are so busy or full of bullets that I've completely tuned out the speaker to read or decifer the slides. Simple aids are key!

Michelle,

yes, visual aids are a great way to reinforce the concepts & the learning.

I believe that the use of visuals is one of the most important tools you can use. Alot of people respond better to something that they can physically see, and I believe it helps you make a "stronger point".

This a very diflcult job not everyone can do.We all have faults that draw us down, and sometimes trick us into failure. So we practice and move on to better our selfs every day.
