Positive Stress
I often find myself waiting for the last minute to accomplish things. This gives me a boost to actually get the work done. This procrastination has also caused me to fail two online courses I've been taking. Not fun at all. But have a learned from my mistake? I don't think so because this has happened twice already.
Hi Sharon, I see myself sometimes prioritizing things according to importance and sometimes this will cause a usually mundane simple task to become more complicated because I have waited awhile to work on it. The "added" stress of having to complete the task quickly though is not always all that bad as I think it does give that "extra push" as you said which can be positive in nature.

I guess I had never thought of the drive to get a project done by a deadline as positive stress, but now I can see it. It gives you that extra push to follow through and finish on time. And if your part of the project affects someone else; you do not want to procrastinate and cause them undue negative stress.
I often find when I am not waiting for the last minute to accomplish things my stress decreases and I have more time to accomplish more tasks with more detail. Life becomes less stressful and more satisfying.
