Encourage Creativity
I am a Business Technology Instructor, and I often find that the more I encourage my students to be creative when completing assigned work, the less they copy from each other.
Secondly, I notice that I don't get as many moans and groans when I assign individual projects.
Great idea! I think allowing for creativity and encouraging that for the assignment helps alleviate the fear of doing a project the “wrong” way.
Yes, the technical students seek to have a creative opportunity and they are awesome at solving problems.
I HAVE THA SAME SITAUATION WITH MY STUDENTS, AND SOME OF THEM CAME TO MY OFFICE SAYING THAT IT IS DIFFICULT TO WORK IN GROUPS BECAUSE THEY FEAR FOR THOSE THAT DONT DO THE JOB
