Resource Notebook
So far this course has been very informative. Learning about the Resource Notebook is key information to completing the Course, and helping me in becoming an effective/organized Agent in a highly regulatory and compliant environment, such as my institution.
Including in my Notebook thus far are printed pages that are, divided & carefully labeled copies:
1. Statues and Rules if the FL Commission of Independent Education. www.fldoe.org/cie/
2. Rules: (Chapter 6E, Florida Administrative Code)
3. Statues: (Chap 1005, Florida Statues 5) Statutory Guidelines, for the Florida Commission for Independen College.
4. Staff, faculty, and administrative contact information including schedules.
5. Institution catolog including avaiable programs or course, start dates and admission requirement process.
6. Enrollment agreement inclding financial obligations,(institution legally binding agreeent between student and intitution)including information per
7.Tool of the Trade including Marketing materials, Stratigies, meeting the Florida Statute guidelines, ie how to find out how prospective students found out about our institution.
8.Standing operation proceduresall informtion about lead genaration companie, and contact inforamtion.
9.Appropriate questions to ask prospective students within regulatory guidelines inclusding application admission forms/documentation.
This course is extremely relevant to the success of an effective Agent and institution success.

Barbara, you are absolutely correct. I have used a Resource Notebook for some time at my institution and it has helped me tremendously. I continually update it with new information, to stay up to date and will be adding a section for all the new state information.

By creating the resource book, it will become my bible in terms of me following the rules exactly as they are. I am still putting it together but when it is completeit will be used daily! It's a great tool to have.
