I agree with these elements. Also, I think it is very important to make sure to include the parent, as an aid for the student. If a student comes to visit a potential school, they will likely only remember the things that are important to them, not to the parent (who is necessary for the Financial Aid process in most situations).

It is important to speak directly to the student but actively involve the parents. They are still minors.

Steve I found that two key elements work well. First always have atleast one parent present for every visit so they are aware of all the details, plus they are your buying committee. 2nd always remember to talk directly to the student as it is their future, do not let the parents answer for them or guide them in the wrong direction. Make sure the student understands every detail in full and talk to them on their level, build a friendship with them, treat them as you would hope someone would treat your child.
