Frances, I agree with you 100%! I believe that within in the industry we work in, there should be continuous and consistent training. There is no denying the fact that we now work in a landscape that is changing daily, not to mention being looked at through a microscope by regulators. Through continuous compliance training, we can be sure that we’re all on our toes and brushed up on the most recent knowledge and material to do our jobs effectively and efficiently.
I agree that continuing education is a good way for an admissions advisor to stay current in his/her field.
I think the Continuing Education Process is a good one as rules and regulations are always changing and we need to try to always stay on the ball.
It is the best way to help our students and make that positive impact on their future.
