It is very difficult to change their mindset. We must strive to educate them every step of the way.
I have to agree with Elaine. Today students think that their education should be given to them and not earned. They complaine about not having extra credit assignments, the amount of homework they are assigned, and lets not forget about the most important thing on alot of the students minds is when is my loan advance check is going to arrive. The one thing I think students don't think about is that yes, you have to repay those loan advance checks.
