Green Campus

I like having a resource notebook as a tool to access all important information as well as a way to keep updated on new policies and regulations. Since our campus is going green and everything seems to be available on my computer, would it be just as effective to create a notebook on my computer with all the information located in one spot? This way I can reference and update at any point without using paper?

Susan,
Electronic versions are also a great way to keep the wealth of material that comprises your resource notebook. Whether a laptop or tablet, the ease of traversing the material is important.

I was thinking that a digital notebook would be the way to go with our institute going green as well. Thanks for this post! I have also found that a lot of the information we have to provide when governing bodies visit is included in this notebook. Would it be appropriate to present it to them on a laptop or tablet?

Ms. Barton

I like your idea. Our campus is moving quite fast with the technology and we've moved all P&Ps to online database. So our Reource Notebook will be placed online so that everyone in the instution with the appropriate credentials will have easy access to it...with just a click of a button. It's quite amazing and it has made our processes very easy.

Kimberly,
Use whichever format works best for you! Either way, you will have the information you need, when you need it.
