Admissions is the 1st impression of the school. Students have questions and deserve answers which are truthful even if it means losing a student to another school because the student realized you are not what they were looking for. I fully understand the role of an Admission Rep and undestand that it's my job to properly introduce the student to our school, programs. The student needs to have all thier questions answered so they can make an educated decision as to whether they want to enroll in your institution. At the end of the day we all want students to succeed, graduate and be a successfull member of societly and it all starts with us.
The admissions representative is the 'face' of the school. Not only should the ALWAYS act with honesty and integrity, by doing the right thing all the time, but they should always look and act professionaly.
Megan,
The Commission considers misleading the student as breaking the law.

Paula,
The admissions representative is the first impression of the school. They can "make" or "break" that relationship.

I agree--it's very important not to mislead anyone in any way.
