Enrollment process

It is very important to understand the enrollment process to share this information with the student and parent.

Faith,

Everyone at the school should understand the rules and regulations that govern their operations. We are all responsible no matter what our roles are.

Patty Aronoff

Absolutely. Its important as an educator to have a thorough understanding of the enrollment process to that when you meet with the potential student or parent the or she can have a complete understanding and feel comfortable in asking questions regarding their education.

Harold,
We do need to be on the same page for compliance purposes. But also, everyone at the school should be able to speak to the question with the same answer.

Patty Aronoff

William,

Absolutely! You should never deal with the student under 18 without the parent or legal guardian present. It's just better business to do it that way.

Patty Aronoff

exactly everyone has to be on the same page during the enrollment process

I expect that we would want to have both parents or legal guardians, when available, when discussing enrollment but what do we do when the underage applicant comes from foster-care?

Can a representative of the foster-care agency or group act as that childs legal guardian?

Samantha,
We do need to be on the same page. If we give conflicting information, the prospective student will not have confidence in what we are saying.

Patty Aronoff

Enrique,
Absolutely! We should all understand the rules and how to apply them appropriately.

Patty Aronoff

Charles,

You must have the parents permission in order to enroll an underage student. The parent is also involved in every step of the process.

Patty Aronoff

very true we all need to know the admissions process for the process to be smooth and we all be on the same page

It's definitely important for all of the administrative staff to be aware of the enrollment process, from the admissions representative to financial aid, so that your whole team is on the same page.
