Admissions
The admissions team has a very hard job.
Megan,
Externship is the great part of an educational experience. The students are able to go out into the community and practice their skills before graduation.

As a new admissions director I see how very important this role is to the school. I am excited and ready for the challenge. Also equally important is the students going out into externship with Doctors.
Deni-Maire,
Re-entries are an important part of a school's growth. The students came to your school for a purpose and for some reason dropped out. It is important as you state to make sure that those challenges have now been met and they are ready to restart their education.

Hello,
My position is what I like to call "back end admissions". I am a re-entry coordinator. I find my job difficult sometimes because I have to heavily involve academics into bringing a student back to school. Students often have grade issues, attendance problems, even unsure of their current status because of various events that happen while they are away. Bringing these students back is rewarding because they usually have dealt with something huge in their life and their path lead them back to school. I love to see and help people succeed towards their dreams!
Camille,
It is all in the details. Our prospective students rely on us for honest and thorough information. By not providing everything to the students we could mislead the student which is against Florida law.

Hello Patty,
Admissions is a detailed oriented job. Not only are we enrolling students, but we also have to make sure to get to know the student and understand their academic goals. Prospective students and Admissions need to be engaged with each other in order to make sure all documents are completed during the enrollment process, so the student is ready to start their program of choice without any set backs.
Hello Patty,
I couldn't agree with you more! If admissions is not successful in getting students to enroll and start school, the lights at the college can't be turned on, you can't pay your instructors and the staff, and you won't be able to improve your programs of study or add new ones. To short, admissions is the revenue driver of a school!
nadine,
They do! It is encumbent on admissions to get students to enroll. They are the lifeblood of a school by replenishing the population for growth.
