The rules that the institution must live by to retain its licensure approval. This is important to know so that you stay current on licensure approval with your institution.
carrie,
It is critical that schools maintain their compliance for licensure. If a school is sanctioned or loses its license to operate in Florida it will directly impact the students in the community at large.

Kevin,
Unfortunately, not all schools operate within the limits of the law. The rules and regulations are there to protect both the student and the school. Being compliant means operating in a good business sense.

LU,
Rules and regulations protect both the student and the school. It's a win-win situation for us all to stay compliant.

Unfortunately due to the unethical decisions and activities of others; private, for profit , post secondary institutions exist in a proverbial " land mine" of regulatory requirements with the explosive potential to bring down an entire organization...it is imperative to obtain a working knowledge and understanding of the rules, laws and policies of the institutions we represent as admissions staff.
Kevin L. Manning
I am totally in agreement with your comments, for it is imperative that every institution bind by those rules and regulations not only to achieve licensure, but to also maintain a sense of professionalism within the institution for years to come.
