Updating with the Florida Commission for Independent Education
In order to keep current with any document changes - it is suggested that you check the Florida Commission for Independent Education website at least once a month for announcements of any updates to Rules and Statutes. Does anyone know of a specific place on the website that would show updates? or would you need to look within the document for changes?

That's a great practice to have. Regularly checking for updates is critical in order to keep the notebook current and active.

I have found checking every semester on the CIE and also on www.flrules.org for any updates before a advisory meeting. This will allow me to inform everyone of the changes and it's documented in the minutes so the administrators can make the changes to the resource book. Also on the flrules website it actually gives you the dates of the change.

I would always check the news section of the website. Also if you are checking the website near the agenda date, you will find the agenda available for review.
