The importance of Transfer Credit pre-evaluations
Although I am knew to working in the field of admissions, I also have been a long time student and I understand from both perspectives how important it is to perform and thorough and direct ransfer of credit evaluation for every student that comes through our door. Transfer credits produces and unmarketed value in many programs. They represent money, as well as hard time earned, and need to be treated as important the entrance interview.
Jorge,
Transfer credit also means money to the school which is lost in tuition revenue. When your school provides the end credential, it is also putting on the line that the student has met all the requirements of the program.
