We can only receive official transcripts that are issued by the awarding institution. It must be in a sealed envelope signed by appropriate personnel. Most transcripts also have an embedded seal.

This can give a student an idea, but unfotunatelty it is possible for students to create unofficial documents. Best practice is to explain to the student academics will review official transcripts.

There are so many bogus transcripts out there. You would be amazed at what a color printer can do. When it arrives in a sealed envelope by the issuing institution they carry a seal of authenticity.
