Agents role in recruiting

In regarding to an Agents role in recruiting a prospective student in a location away from campus...Would an individual need to be registered as an agent for the school if only a presentation is taking place in an offsite location or prospective students home, with no securement of an enrollment by means of accepting an enrollment fee, deposit, etc...?

Dale,
Agents represent the institution outside of the school. They have a very important role.

Yes he can do the presentation but for doing anything else it dose become a very gray areas

James,
Very good advice. Thank you for posting your process.

As a Regional Director of a High School program I prefer to act on the side of precaution. If you can see the line your too close to it. I prefer to have all representatives that register students as well as presenters have State required licensing before conducting any business that would lead to registering a prospective student.

Tracy,
The representative would not be able to do anything other than making a presentation. It would be best to have that person registered just in case. It can quickly become a very gray area.
