after covering this topic, I realized that there is so much more to the admissions process. We'll always have room for growth and improvement.
Stephanie,
That is what training is all about.
There is always more to learn about Admissions
Natalia,

Oscar,
We can never assume we've learned it all.
I have in admissions for only a year, and prety much every day you learn something new. Yes, Kim it is a continuing process.
You are right i have lean so in doing this training
LaTrina,
Agreed! New situations and questions arise everyday. This is why your job is exciting.
Fasil,
Our sector truly changes people's lives and helps them realize their dreams.
I've learned that no matter how long you work in Admissions, you will never know everything there is to know. The rules and regulations change, issues arise that you've never come across before. Training is ongoing and is integral in the success of an admissions rep.
I agree Norlan and feel that these rules are set to help us motivate more students to come to the school of their dreams.
Chris,
We are glad that you find the forums useful. There are many great postings to assist you.
After being in admissions for such a short time, this forum really helps me be more aware of what I need to know.
Reinaldo,
It is definitely a constant process. However, this presents an opportunity to review other materials we have placed in the notebook, especially when one change affects other areas.
Angela,
You bring an important point to the forum. Sometimes we become so comfortable we don't know that we are veering off the path. Bringing it back on the straight and narrow often comes with a new perspective.
Kim,
Congratuations on your tenure. Your posting reminds us that the learning never stops.
Sheila,
Rules and regulations can change at any time. It is very important to keep learning and asking questions.
I agree, that's why keeping the Resource Notebook updated is so important. With all the rules frequently changing one can easily fall behind without it.
