Learning about your school from the Catalog

From reading our catalog I learned many facts that I did not know previously. Building specifics may not seem important, but different rules concerning refunds definitely was something I find useful! Since I am not in the department that deals with enrollment agreements, I do not always work with those numbers on a regular basis, but I know it is still important I know them.

I agree, an Institutional Catalog has been designed to help you become aware of the mission and philosophy of the programs. In addition to the policies and procedures, this will affect your retention, progression, and graduation from the program.

Terri,
It is the place to go. Because the student has signed the enrollment ageement, they have stated that they have received and read the catalog.

Udo,
The catalog is their guide to the rules and policies of your school. Along with the enrollment agreement they constitute the contract with the student and school.

the catalog is an extremely important guide for students to follow regarding the school. Ite explains school policies and procedures and may cut down on time since it can answer questions that do not need consultations

The catalog is our "holy" referral. Using it as a resource daily helps eliminate unnecessary escalations or questions that could be handled up front and quickly.

Victoria,
The catalog and the enrollment agreement constitute the contract with the student. Very important documents.

The catelog as a information tool is just as important as our resource notebook. We are able to look up policies and procedure that may not come up ever day. In addition, giving the catelog to studnets allows us to give them the "full picture" of our institution while we discuss it with them. When they leave they still have all the information with them.

Idalmis,
The catalog is your guide to your school.

Kelley,
The catalog is your guiding force. Read, learn, and apply the tenets of the catalog.

The catalog is a great source of information ...
