Foreign Student

I would like to know if there are some rules and regulations for foreign students.

Gladys,
All foreign transcripts must be evaluated by a reputable credentialing service to determine their equivalency to Americans standards.

Does a foreign prospect student have to have their high school diploma translated into English?

Cleophat,
Yes, internatinal students must comply with the same admission requirements as American students. The key issues are permission to study in the United States as well as valid transcripts that have been translated and reviewed to American standards.

Nicolette,
Yes, foreign transcripts must be evaluated to correspond with US standards. A copy of that evaluation should accompany the transcript and placed in the academic file.

Kate,
TOEFL is the standardized test for recognizing English competency.

Nicolette,

Is there a basic English test available to help us with fluency levels?

Pertaining to admissions requirements, one of our hurdles is ensuring that students submitting transcripts from institutions outside of the US have have them evaluated by a NACES member agency to verify they have earned at least a bachelor's degree.
