I am a DSO at the Institution that I work for, one of my main function is to provide information to prospective International Students. Then I have to make sure they submit the appropiate documentation, and then I process the I-20 (letter of elegibility)and send the prospective students all the package to be submitted at the embassy. Once they get their visa I follow up with them until they get register, and then I pass them to a another department to follow up with them.

International students have additional paperwork in order to be incompliance with ICE and the USDOE. Representatives from these federal agencies will assist you in the requirements to have international students at your school. Any transcript from a foreign country must be evaluated by a reputable credentialing service. The program specialist at CIE can assist you with any questions you may have.
