Admissions paperwork should be thoroughly discussed and copied for the student to have for their records. Graduation requirements are a key thing to go over with the student so they know the expectations.

If we cannot answer all their questions, then we are opening the door of doubt. We should be able to answer or obtain information for whatever questions they may have.

I agree that the paperwork should be discussed thoroughly. If a question arises you should be prepared to answer all of the questions and if a requirement is not met then the time of the student and counselor is not wasted.

The admissions paperwork is very important that it be discussed thoroughly with the student. The student should be encouraged to ask as many questions as they like so they can fully understand what is expected of them. They should also understand all the student services that are provided at the institution to guide them through the process.

Prospective students should fully understand the requirements for graduation but also for staying in school. Rate of progress and minimum grade point average should be discussed.
