Transfer of Credits
When explaining the disclaimer about the transfer of credits with prospective students, how would I efffectively explain in great detail about other schools accepting transfer credits and how would our registrar know what transfer credits will be accepted in our institution?

It is up to the receiving institution to determine transferability of credits. I always refer students to contact that particular institution for their determination.

When I explain the transfer of credits to a prospective student, I will tell that typically our credits will not transfer to another institution. It is up to that institution if they will take our credits. If they have a school in mind call them and find out.

You should have process at your school for the determination of credits. With regards to the other schools, it it strictly up to the receiving school to determine what will transfer and that is what we tell the student. It is their responsibility to research the other school. Determination of transferability of credit is based on a myriad of factors and a detailed review by the authorized designee.
