Financial Aid

Wehn a student is exploring financila aid and ask the representive for information on privates loans what is the best reponse to give the student.

Rita,
Having the Financial Aid Officer discuss that topic is the best practice. They are the subject matter experts and are best served to answer those questions.

I think discussing Financial Aid issues with Prospect Students is not a good option because is a more private matter and definitely should be discussed with a Financial Aid officer since they are the experts and know the rules and regulations on it. Even though we might know some of the answers it should be directed to FA.

Moises,

Referring students to the financial aid office is a best practice. The financial aid officer is really the subject matter expert and can answer the individualized questions that a prospective student may have on the financing of their education.

We never give financial aid info. Always refer them to the Financial aid dept..

A financial advisor will be the best person for the student to talk to.

Alana,

Refer them to the financial aid department. They are the subject matter experts.
