I agree - word of mouth referrals are a large part of our prospective students, BUT this is only true when the students and grads of our programs are HAPPY with the quality of their program / experience. So, continued student support is also so important to create future pospects.

Many will agree that personally developed leads are the best marketing.
For our Institution, word of mouth and students referral is the largest market. I believe that bad news spread faster than good news therefore when students referral is the biggest form of adverting it shows that the institution is doing something well.

The most effective is probably personally developed leads. Having a student refer another prospective student brings the best advertising. Other tools are events at the school such as open house, career events. I am looking forward to hearing from others.
