Learning Resource Center

Is it true that an institution that does not grant a Bachelors Degree can only use the term Learning Resource Center and not Library ?

Patty,
Thanks much for the clarification. I was wondering about this topic as well. The institution I work with offers an extensive online resource web site that both faculty and students alike have access to. It is interesting to see how our students evolve to worrying less about accessing the physical library and more about the depth of online resources offered.

LATOSHA,

The level of library resources is determined by the level of program. This includes the actual resources available to the level of credentialed staff. The library is called by many names and not required to be called a specific name. The Commission is concerned about the level of resources.
