Remaining in touch with graduates (alumni) of an institution not only helps bring other potential students back to the institution but also allows for an institution to help grown the community in which it operates. If a student graduates with an associate's or bachelor's, why not keep in touch to see if they have plans of moving forward into a master's. Providing excellent service to students post graduation says a lot about an organization and word of mouth and a reputation of continued service can be vital to future growth.
