Financial Aid and Admissions
How involved can an admissions rep become when it comes to financial aid?
Nydia,
It is all part of the student experience. We partner with all departments to create a great student experience.

Both departments are important but different. Admissions because it is the first step where students complete their enrollment. For most students is important receive Financial Aid because they don't have the money to pay for school.
Irene,
We can answer basic questions, of course. But as with any technical aspect, the bulk of the information should be delivered by Financial Aid.

I agree to keep them separated; however, it is also important for Admissions to at least know the basics of Finacial Aid. At least be able to answer any simple question; of course, letting the student know that all options and details will be provided by Financial Aid advisor.
Jessica,
Depends upon the management of the school. Best practices keep the role separated.
