I totally agree with that. The website should give an image of your institution: Programs offered, schedule, address, etc

If the institution's website is not current, then the institution is providing misleading information. That is against the rules of CIE.

It certainly can work against you if the website is not current. Maintaining websites takes attention to detail and timeliness. You can quickly fall into noncompliance with outdated information on the web.

In my own experiences, I ran into website that the information on the website was outdated.
I would call and email them for additional information.

I agree with this. Often times websites are geared to provide easier access to information, and knowing your way around your institutions website can also be helpful in directing students to this resource.
